The 25-year-old was transported by ambulance to the Larnaca General Hospital, where he is hospitalized, with his health condition out of danger.

During the investigations in the area, the members of the Police located a 29-year-old man, who, according to the data under investigation, had earlier argued with the 25-year-old, resulting in the injury of the 25-year-old.

According to information, there seems to have been a financial difference between them (€150) for which they argued and then injured him.

Contacts are underway to hand over from the pseudo-state to the authorities of the Republic of Cyprus a wanted for murder, aged 36, who is characterized as a person linked to a criminal group in Israel.

The information was brought to the attention of "F" yesterday, while it was also confirmed by a competent source of our newspaper who has good knowledge of the ongoing procedures.

The wanted person is a person who was arrested by the fake police in Kyrenia last Wednesday, July 30, having in possession of a fake Spanish passport named Andros Garcia.

According to reports in Israel, as well as on the website of the occupied territories, it is the wanted Daniel Yehonatan Zarug. For the latter, the Israeli authorities have reportedly issued a "red notice" through Interpol. At this stage he is in custody following a decision of the "court" of Kyrenia.

According to the website Mako, which is owned by an Israeli news groupZarug is suspected of killing a woman and injuring two other people.

The perpetrator of the crime set up a death cart for Shaul Peretz on 24/3/2024 in Ashdod, who was going with his family to a court hearing. He shot nine times, killing, however, Shaul's wife, Almog Peretz. The assailant wounded Shaul and another woman.

Zarug reportedly left Israel in March 2024, shortly after the aforementioned crime.

The cross-checked information of "F" states that contacts are being made through a bi-communal group for the surrender of the 36-year-old to the authorities of the Republic of Cyprus and then the extradition of the wanted man to Israel.

Turkey...

The issue also has a political connotation, since other countries, such as the United States and Turkey, are also in the frame.

A competent source told us that Turkey criticizes Israel for what is being assumed in the Middle East, while at the same time it "maintains balance". It is well known, after all, that when the events of Mavi Marmara (2010) faded over time, which took Turkey-Israel relations to the extreme, there was informal cooperation between the two countries, even at the level of the secret services. As indicated to us in the context of the report, "at home, Turkey wants to show that it criticizes Israel, but it will not take it to extremes."

In this context, therefore, the efforts to hand it over to Democracy through the bicommunal group seem to be placed, which have nothing to do with the initiative of Democracy. The possibility of the wanted person being extradited through the Republic of Cyprus is a scenario that suits Turkey as well.

And the U.S.

However, last Thursday (7/8) the analyst Shimon Ifergan, who deals with immigration, citizenship and passports issues (he collaborates with Israeli media), in an article on the Mako website, places US agencies in the frame of the 36-year-old's case.

He writes, among other things: "The Police (note. He feared that Zrog would try to flee to Dubai or Thailand, countries with which Israel does not have extradition agreements, so his details were given to the prosecution authorities of those countries.

At the same time, according to the same source, the American law enforcement authorities also entered the game and put pressure on the occupied territories to arrest the perpetrator. "An entire unit was monitoring him 24 hours a day, it was important that he was 'under our control'," explains one police officer. It was clear to us that if he disappeared, we would have a big problem."

Five criminals...

In the same analysis of Mako, analyst Shimon Ifergan writes that the pseudo-state "does not have an extradition agreement with Israel," but "continues to attract Israeli criminals who are fleeing from the police — and is becoming a hotbed of cross-border criminal activity. In recent weeks, five more criminals have escaped there, some with fake passports, while joining a thriving Israeli community that organizes lucrative gambling groups and provides shelter to escaped criminals.
