Mozzarella cheese has been recalled from the Cypriot market, the Health Services of the Ministry of Health say in a statement, following a relevant notification by the Early Warning System for Food and Feed (RASFF).
In particular, they state that following a consumer complaint in Italy about the existence of a foreign body (metal wire) in mozzarella cheese, the manufacturing company proceeds to a voluntary recall.
Therefore, mozzarella cheese under the brand name Latbri in a 125g package (Batch number N5205D, Date of minimum durability: 22/8/2025) which is likely to be in the possession of consumers, should not be consumed and must be returned to the premises from which it was purchased.
