The newly launched “Tetras Cello” Quartet brings together all four cellists of the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra. Working for many years side-by-side at the Orchestra, the distinguished musicians bring to the Cyprus audience a unique chamber music proposal, for the very unusual combination of four cellos! Blending their friendship and passion for music, they explore together the fascinating world of the celli ensemble sound, through a rich and broad repertoire.
“Arco / Echo” is an upbeat, colourful playlist of great stylistic wealth, from Dowland and J. S. Bach to Dvorak, Prokofiev, Part and contemporary composers, especially composed or arranged for four cellos.
