The municipality of Akamas is preparing for the 13th Carob Festival that will take place on Friday, August 29, 2025 at 8 p.m. in the renovated courtyard of Agios Georgios Peyia.
The black gold of Peyia, carob, has its honor. The organizers promise an evening full of music, tradition, flavors and culture, in the renewed, idyllic and enchanting beauty of Agios Georgios Peyia, in a landscape with unique beauty and history.
On stage, in addition to the excellent Ilias Vretos, Georgia Vrana and their musical group will be present. Traditional Cypriot dances and a rich artistic program will also be presented. The event will offer traditional dishes with carob, Resi, local delicacies, food and drinks. The event is organized by the Municipality of Akamas and the Peyia-Mandria F.C. The main sponsor of the event is Philippos supermarkets.
