The Department of Road Transport informs that, according to information received by the company Char. Pilakoutas Ltd from the manufacturer BMW, an additional 852 BMW vehicles are subject to recall due to defective TAKATA driver's airbags, with instructions from the manufacturer to their owners for their immediate immobilization.
The Department of Road Transport in a statement states that "it has proceeded with the revocation of the certificate of suitability of these vehicles".
"In view of the above, the owners of the vehicles are requested to contact the distributor of the manufacturer, which in Cyprus is the company Char. Pilakoutas Ltd, for further instructions".
