The Road Transport Department announces the recall of an additional 426 BMW vehicles, which are manufactured from January 1, 2006 to December 31, 2008, due to defective Takata driver's airbags.
In a statement, the Road Transport Department informs that, according to information received by Char. Pilakoutas Ltd from the manufacturer BMW, an additional 426 BMW vehicles, which are manufactured from 1 January 2006 to 31 December 2008, are subject to recall due to defective Takata driver's airbags, with instructions from the manufacturer to their owners for their immediate immobilization.
"Therefore, the Department of Road Transport has proceeded to revoke the certificate of suitability of these vehicles," it said.

In view of the above, the owners of the vehicles are invited to contact the distributor of the manufacturer, which in Cyprus is the company Char. Pilakoutas Ltd, for further instructions.
