The Department of Forestry informs the public that tomorrow, Monday, July 28, 2025, the risk of explosion and expansion of forest fires will be at the level of "RED ALERT".
It is emphasized that causing a fire, according to the Forestry Law and the Fire Prevention and Extinguishing Law in the Countryside, constitutes an offense that incurs severe penalties.
A warm appeal is made to the public to be particularly careful during their excursions, completely avoiding actions and activities that may cause a fire.
Finally, in case someone notices smoke or fire, they are asked to immediately call 1407 (Forestry Department) or 112 (Fire Department).
