TEMPORARY RELOCATION OF THE ACCIDENT & EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT OF PAFOS GENERAL HOSPITAL - Nicosia 11 July 2025

As part of the continuous upgrading of its infrastructure, Paphos General Hospital is proceeding with the temporary relocation of the Accident and Emergency Department (AED) to new premises, which have been developed right next to the existing location.

The relocation is part of the broader development project plan implemented by the State Health Services Organization (SHSO), with the aim of upgrading its infrastructure and services throughout Cyprus.

The temporary relocation will take place on Monday, July 14, 2025. It is necessary, as the existing TAEP premises are to be demolished, with the aim of constructing a new, modern and fully equipped Department, which will cover the needs of the citizens of Paphos District even more effectively.

The operation of the temporary TAEP will begin immediately, with the same medical and nursing staff, who will continue to provide care with the same dedication and professionalism around the clock.

The public is asked to pay special attention to the new signage, inside and outside the Hospital, in order to avoid delays and ensure the smooth service of emergencies.
