The Electricity Authority of Cyprus announced that as of Wednesday 09/07/2025, the mass installation of smart meters continues in all Regions in the following areas:
Nicosia: Lakatameia
-Area of Archangelos
Roundabout-Southwest between Spyrou Kyprianou, Archangelos Michael Avenues to Magli
Lake-Northwest between Archangelos Michael Avenue and Morphou, on both sides of Iroon Street
Strovolos
-Area of Archangelos
Roundabout-Northeast between Archangelos Michael Avenue and Pedieon Linear Park
Limassol: Limassol
-Limassol Marina
Area-On both sides of Franklin Roosevelt and Misiaouli and Kavazoglou
Streets-Between Franklin Roosevelt, Dimokratias and Misiaouli and Kavazoglou
Streets-Between Spyrou Araouzou, Ellados, Gladstonos, Georgiou Karaiskakis and Zenas Kanter
Streets Works with single-phase meters in the following areas
-Omonia Area, Agios Spyridonas, Provita
Area -Area between Misiaouli and Kavazoglou and Franklin Roosevelt Streets
Larnaca: Aradippou
-North of Grigori Afxentiou Avenue (from the Municipal Stadium), on both sides of Michael Paridi Street, 1st April, Modestou Pantelis Street, Messolonghi, Odysseas Androutsou, Eleftheriou Venizelou Street, Kilkis, 25th Martiou Avenue, Agia Sofias Avenue and Archbishop Makarios III Avenue.
Paphos:
-Between the Avenue of the Tombs of the Kings, Aristarchou, Igian Ali, Felahoglou to the Community Boundaries of Chloraka
It should be noted that for the safe replacement of the meter, a power outage of up to 20 minutes is required. EAC apologizes for any inconvenience.
