According to information from Filenews, there were four people in the vehicle involved and not three, as the Police had initially been informed. The same information states that two of the occupants, foreigners from Syria, returned to the scene of the accident about an hour after the incident, where they remained there. They were then taken to the offices of the Limassol Traffic Police for interrogation. The fourth person in the vehicle (except the driver) was also identified, who was also called to testify.
The two occupants claimed during interrogation that they temporarily removed from the scene in order to locate the driver of the same nationality and bring him back to the scene of the accident.
