From the beginning of this month until October 31, measures for traffic traffic are being implemented in the tourist area of Kato Paphos, with the aim of better managing traffic and enhancing road safety.
During this period, the following measures are in force on all days of the week and between 18.00 – 06.00 of the following day in cooperation with the Police and the Municipality of Paphos:
Closure for traffic of the section of Agiou Antoniou Street, from the intersection with Konstantias and Panagias Theoskepastis Street to the junction with Kikeronos Street.
Closure for the traffic of a small section of Apollonos Street despite the junction with Agiou Antoniou Street, with the appropriate temporary signage to inform drivers at the junction with Tefkrou Street.
Closure for traffic of a small section of Dionysou Street, from the junction with Panagias Theoskepastis Street to the junction with Agiou Antoniou Street.
In this context, temporary road signs and signage are implemented to inform and guide drivers in order to ensure road safety, safe pedestrian movement and the facilitation of affected residents.
The implementation of these temporary measures will be supervised by competent bodies and violators will be reported out of court, the Municipality of Paphos announced, urging drivers to comply with road signs and signage to avoid accidents and unnecessary inconvenience.
