The strict recommendations, suggestions and ultimatum given by the Tax Department to the football clubs of the first division, which began to comply with their tax obligations, took place.
After the series of the previous months with their debts to the state and the reintegration of APOEL, Apollon, Anorthosis and Ethnikos Achnas into the government's debt settlement plan, all the teams participating in the settlement were consistent for the first time in several months, with their obligations.
Specifically, they paid the instalment determined by the competent department for the month of June and at the same time some of those who in the previous months were not consistent with their obligations also submitted post-dated cheques until the end of the year, so that payments would be made immediately and without delay.
They will pay in full in twelve years
The four unions in question, after their reintegration into the plan, will have to repay all their debts in 145 instalments (one has already been paid) over a period of twelve years.
