In October, it is expected that the offer for the MobileApp will be awarded, which will enable us to have useful information on our mobile phones about our medical history and more.
The National eHealth Authority is currently in the process of evaluating the offers submitted and is setting the start of the first phase of the MobileApp in November 2025.
In its first phase of operation, the application will offer basic but particularly useful functions, such as the ability to view the patient's brief health history, the immediate information about overnight pharmacies and doctors on duty, as well as the activation of a special "Panic Button" for use in cases of emergency, in order to quickly and effectively mobilize health services.
At the end of December 2025, it is expected that the tender for the creation of the National Single Health Data Bank will be completed.
As representatives of the National Authority for eHealth reported to the Parliamentary Health Committee, the tender for the project is already posted on the eProcurement platform and will remain open for comments and comments until Monday, June 30, 2025.
So far, 46 companies from Europe, including niche technology groups, have expressed interest. The official call is expected to take place on 30 September, while the deadline for submission of tenders is 25 December 2025.
