The Larnaca marina is in full readiness for the second week, where hundreds of foreign nationals have arrived on private boats in the last twelve days, leaving Israel one by one, due to the missile attacks.
Competent sources told filenews that from June 12 until today (24/6) about 190 private boats arrived carrying 1,448 people to Cyprus. The majority of them are passport holders of foreign countries who use our country as a transit station. Among them, however, are people who are seeking accommodation in the city until the final end of the rocket attacks against Israel.

Through private boats, many of which charge up to €1000 per passenger, nationals of the country who were trapped either in Cyprus or in other countries return to Israel. So far, about 1,200 Israelis have departed on boats bringing foreign nationals to Cyprus.
The occupancy rates of Larnaca's hotels, meanwhile, continue to be at particularly high levels for the season, which is attributed to both the arrivals at the marina and the special repatriation flights that have been operating since last Wednesday through the airport.
