Reports to the Police continue to send messages to mobile phones that misleadingly appear to come from a fuel company.
These messages refer to the redemption of supposed points and then urge citizens to click on a specific link where the credit card number is requested. Then, to make the fraud more believable, a one-time code is sent which the user is asked to enter. Subsequently, with various tricks, the cunning people extract sums of money from the bank accounts of unsuspecting citizens.

The Police clarify that these messages are fraudulent.
Special caution is recommended when receiving SMS messages that lead you to unknown electronic links.
