The ERATOSTHENI Centre of Excellence is proud to announce that it will lead the new approved COST action entitled "Cultural Property Protection for All – CPP4ALL", an important pan-European initiative within the framework of the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) programme.
COST is a European funding agency for research and innovation networks. Its aim is to unite research initiatives across Europe and beyond, offering researchers and innovators the opportunity to develop their ideas in any scientific and technological field, through collaboration with their colleagues. COST Actions are bottom-up networks with a four-year duration, promoting research, innovation and career development of participants.
The new approved Action CPP4ALL aims to strengthen the protection of cultural heritage through interdisciplinary cooperation, innovative technologies and inclusive approaches. It is worth underlining that this is the only COST Action that is coordinated by a Cypriot entity and was approved in the framework of the highly competitive Open Call OC-2024-1.
The proposal CPP4ALL received an excellent evaluation with 46 out of 50 and was ranked among the top candidates, being one of only 70 new approved Actions out of a total of more than 850 proposals from all over Europe.
