An episodic chase of a boat carrying migrants, during which shots were even fired, took place at dawn in free Famagusta.
Around 04:50 in the morning today, a suspicious target was detected by the Port and Maritime Police, initially moving towards the occupied areas and then changing course and heading towards the free areas.
A boat of the Port and Maritime Police moved towards the target for reconnaissance purposes. An inflatable boat was found at the scene, in which it appears that around 20 people were on board, while the two navigators were wearing hoods.
