Members of the Police proceeded yesterday afternoon to the arrest of a 24-year-old man, pursuant to a court warrant, in connection with a case of burglary of a store and theft.
According to the evidence under investigation and a complaint submitted to the Paphos TAE on May 29, around 1.30 a.m. on May 25, a burglary was committed in a fast food restaurant in Paphos, from which a sum of money was stolen from the tip container of the employees in the store.

Members of the Police, shortly after midnight, in the Ayia Napa area, proceeded to the arrest of a 24-year-old woman, pursuant to a court warrant, in connection with a theft case.
According to a complaint filed last Thursday [05/06] at the Famagusta Police Station, a 26-year-old man, around 3.30 a.m. on Thursday, while he was in Ayia Napa Square, was approached by two women to sell him flowers.
While they were talking, one woman asked to give her his phone number and when he did, she fled. At the same time, the second woman fled.
Then the 26-year-old found that a chain he was wearing had been removed from his neck and stolen.

The members of the Police proceeded to the arrest of a 42-year-old man under a court warrant, regarding a case of illegal entry into property and theft.
According to the data of the case, last Friday [06/06], shortly before 8.00 p.m., after information, members of the Police spotted a 34-year-old man stealing metal parts of vehicles that were kept in the area in a fenced field, in the area of Latsia.
The 34-year-old was arrested for the flagrant offenses of illegal entry into property and theft.
During the police examinations, evidence also emerged against a 53-year-old man. The 53-year-old was summoned to the local Police Officer where he was interrogated and charged in writing, for the offenses of conspiracy to commit a felony and theft.
Evidence also emerged against the 42-year-old, against whom a court arrest warrant was issued. He was arrested at the crossing point of Ledra Street in Nicosia, shortly after midnight.

The fire that broke out in the early hours of the morning in the car of a 33-year-old woman in Larnaca is ultimately due to malicious action. At the scene, according to information from the Police, traces of flammable material were found and now the investigations are focused on locating the perpetrators.
The fire in the vehicle, which was parked outside the young woman's house. She was noticed around 2:30 a.m. Members of the Fire Service rushed to the scene and extinguished the fire, which caused extensive damage to the vehicle.
So far, the motives behind the malicious action remain unknown, since the 33-year-old said that she had no differences with anyone.
Members of the Larnaca TAE are looking for testimonies from the area, as well as material from closed circuit surveillance in an effort to identify evidence that may lead to the perpetrators.
