After a long period of indifference and stagnation, during which Paphos Hospital remained without a canteen, resulting in the inconvenience of patients, attendants and staff, the first substantial steps towards resolving the issue are finally being taken.
This was announced by Paphos MP, Chrysanthos Savvidis, pointing out that after the continuous interventions and pressures, a tender was published for the management of the canteen area. The deadline for the submission of bids or applications for participation, according to Mr. Savvidis, is June 20.
We are pleased to see that, albeit slowly, actions are finally being taken in the right direction, he stressed. We will continue to monitor the progress of the issue, with the aim of immediately restoring the service that is so lacking from patients, visitors and staff, he concluded.
