AKAMAS MUNICIPALITY - ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS [installation in the Autumn]

Within the framework of the "Electromobility with 1000" Sponsorship Scheme of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, and with co-financing from the Recovery and Resilience Facility of the EU, the construction of two electric vehicle charging stations was approved. In addition, according to a relevant announcement, it was decided by the Municipality to install three additional charging stations for electric vehicles throughout the new Municipality. One of the stations will have a fast charger with at least 50KW Dc. 

The implementation of the project, which includes the installation, management and maintenance of the charging stations, will be carried out through an agreement with the Cyprus Electricity Authority. The agreement with EAC was signed on June 24 and the completion of the project is expected in the autumn. 

The points of installation of recharging stations are, the announcement continues, Municipal Parking – Municipal Beach 1x44kW (2x22kW), Municipal Parking – Aphrodite Baths 1x44kW (2x22kW), Municipal Parking – Latsi 1x44kW (2x22kW), Municipal Parking – Opposite Moustakali Restaurant 1x50kW DC and Municipal Parking – Pomos Port 1x44kw (2x22kW).
