The Tax Department announced the extension until September 30, 2025 of the deadline for the submission of the Income Tax Return for the tax year 2024 and the payment of the tax due, based on a Decree issued by the Council of Ministers on Friday, June 20.
In an announcement, the Tax Department reminds that the obligation to submit a Person's Income Declaration without accounts for the tax year 2024 is held by Employees, Pensioners and Self-Employed, whose Gross Total Income for the tax year 2024 exceeds the amount of €19,500. It notes that the Declaration is submitted through the TaxisNet system.
Also, the Tax Department mentions that useful informative material has been posted on its website for completing and submitting the Return.
