The Department of Road Transport (TOM) invites citizens who have not been able to arrange an appointment with an authorized distributor for the implementation of the recall, concerning the defective Takata type airbags, to contact a call center that operates specifically for recall issues, for further guidance.
Specifically, in an announcement in the context of market surveillance and recall monitoring concerning defective Takata airbags, the TOM calls on citizens "in case they have already contacted an authorized distributor of their vehicle but have not been able to arrange an appointment for the implementation of the recall, they are kindly requested to contact the Department's call center which operates specifically for issues of revocations, for further guidance" at 22-600500.
He adds that the call center is open Monday to Friday, from 8:00 to 15:00.
The safety of citizens is a priority and the timely implementation of the revocation is an act of responsibility for the protection of ourselves and our fellow human beings," concludes the TOM.
