The Ayia Napa/Paralimni motorway to Larnaca Airport will remain closed for two consecutive nights, on Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 June 2025, in the section from the sinking of the Rizoelia roundabout to the exit to Aradippou, due to road maintenance works, the Department of Public Works announced.
The works will take place on both nights from 20:00 to 05:30 in the morning of the next day. During them, both lanes in the direction of the airport will remain closed for about 3 kilometers.
The traffic from Paralimni will be channelled to the opposite traffic stream, which will operate with a two-way flow and appropriate signage. At the same time, the entrance to the highway to the airport from the Rizoelia roundabout will remain closed.
The Department of Public Works urges drivers heading from Nicosia to the airport to continue straight towards Larnaca and through the light-controlled junction with Ellados Avenue to then head towards the airport.
Drivers are asked to be particularly careful and comply with the signage and instructions in the work area.
