Serious problems in the software of the General Health System (GHS) were recorded once again on Monday morning, causing inconvenience to health providers and patients on a pan-Cypriot scale.
The malfunction started shortly after 8:00 in the morning, without prior notification or relevant information to professionals and beneficiaries of the System. In some cases, the software either did not work at all or experienced a significant delay at times, making it impossible to perform medical procedures and enter data.
The technical problem lasted about two hours, with the software returning to full operation.
It is recalled that at the end of March, before the parliamentary health committee, it was mentioned that at least three months are needed to resolve the technical issues that have arisen since last October.
