Flights from Israel to Paphos have partially resumed since the first days of April, creating feelings of satisfaction and relief among the local authorities, but as the airport's summer flight schedule progresses, it becomes clear that the full normalization they expected has not yet occurred.
Information from "F" states that flights from Tel Aviv and Haifa to Paphos may now take place in the last two months, but this is done either with airlines of Cypriot interests, or with foreign carriers that have Paphos as their main base, such as Ryanair, or with smaller Israeli airlines.
On the contrary, the heavy artillery of the Israelis has yet to appear at Paphos International Airport. The reason for EL AL, which although it had announced flights from April 7, has yet to land in Paphos, maintaining a veil of mystery about what is really happening, since local factors, apart from various speculations, have not yet been officially informed what exactly these security reasons were that imposed the peculiar embargo of the past months.
