The Drug Enforcement Service (Larnaca Division), in the context of operational planning to combat illegal drug trafficking, proceeded yesterday afternoon to execute a court search warrant at a house in Larnaca.
During the investigation, which was conducted in the presence of the 29-year-old resident of the house and a 27-year-old woman, the following were identified and confiscated as evidence:
· Plastic container containing approximately 333 grams of cocaine, found in a crypt at the furniture base in the bedroom bathroom.
· A total amount of €6,670, in various banknotes.
· Amount of cannabis weighing about 1.8 grams.
· Precision scale and scissors with traces of white matter and crusher with traces of cannabis.
The above persons were arrested for flagrant offenses and were detained to facilitate the interrogations.

The Police are investigating a case of assault causing actual bodily harm, following a relevant complaint submitted to the Police by three minors.
According to the evidence under examination, around 21:00 last night, while the three minors were in the area of the Limassol dock, they were allegedly approached by a group of other young people, who attacked and beat them.
The minors went to the Limassol General Hospital, where they received first aid and were discharged.

In a coordinated police operation that took place today at 09:55 in the morning in the district of Paphos, members of the Paphos ADE proceeded to the arrest of a 39-year-old foreigner, who was wanted for serious cases of robbery and attempted murder committed on April 28 and 30, 2025, respectively.
The operation was carried out after using information and on the basis of a court search warrant, while the photograph and details of the suspect had previously been made public for his identification.
During the search of the apartment, three more people were identified – a 31-year-old Greek Cypriot and two foreigners, aged 31 and 37 – who were arrested with court warrants for the offence of granting asylum to a wanted person.
It is noted that another foreigner, 33 years old, who was arrested on May 10, 2025, is already in custody for the same cases. Police investigations continue.
