Realist painter Alex Dzaghigian Vadet embarks on his first major solo exhibition tour this summer, leaving his mark on the contemporary art scene. The exhibition will travel through six cultural capitals, beginning in Nicosia and Limassol, and continuing to London, Rome, Dubai and Athens, showcasing the work to a global audience.
Recognised from a young age, Alex first rose to global prominence after receiving the Toyota Dream Art Award in Japan, selected from over 880,000 entries worldwide. He has since been awarded two Guinness World Records for his artistic achievements, sold his first painting at just fifteen, and built a loyal collector base across Europe, the USA and Japan.
This touring exhibition unveils, for the first time, Alex’s latest collection, a series of works that demonstrate both technical skill and philosophical reflection.
Already praised by leading voices in the art world, the collection has been reviewed by UK based RCA curator and art critic Ismini Chimona: “Exceptional. These paintings transcend representation; they are feats of technical mastery but also philosophical depth. His style echoes the spirit of the old masters while asserting a voice of his own. In a time when so much art is fleeting, his is built to endure.”
In Nicosia, the classical oil painting exhibition will take over the Strovolos Cultural Centre from May 31 to June 2, with an opening event welcoming visitors at 7pm. In Limassol, the Municipal University Library will host the artworks from June 14 to 20. Each exhibition will feature daily workshops and guest speakers, offering visitors an immersive cultural and educational experience.
