The bad weather that has been pounding the Aegean islands since yesterday arrives in Cyprus, but weakened, having caused floods and heaps of disasters.
As meteorological officer Andreas Hadjigeorgiou told philenews, the low barometric that affects the islands in Greece is moving east and will be in Cyprus tomorrow. "He will have weakened by the time he comes. It will have nothing to do with Greece," he underlined.
However, cloudy and isolated rains or storms are expected in the afternoon, mainly in the mountains and the eastern half of the island.
This barometric is expected to depart a day later continuing eastwards and with it the dust will leave the atmosphere.
However, Mr. Hadjigeorgiou clarifies, conditions of instability seem to be created in our area, resulting in the rain phenomena continuing in the coming days.
The temperature will be slightly below normal levels.
