The countdown to the Paphos Triathlon 2025 has begun.
The race, which is the Pancyprian Championship of the Cyprus Triathlon Federation and which is co-organized by Activate Cyprus and the Municipality of Paphos, will be held on Sunday, May 4th in Paphos.
According to an announcement by the organizers, the race will reveal the Olympic Distance champions, both men and women.
Paphos is preparing to host another year a triple-digit number of athletes, coming from both Cyprus and abroad. Last year's edition of the race saw over 200 triathletes take part, either individually or in teams.
There are two categories in the event. The Olympic distance athletes will swim 1.5 km, cycle 40 km and run 10 km, while those participating in the Sprint category will cover half the distances: 750 m. swim, 20 km cycle and 5 km run. The action will take place in the Municipal Baths area in Kato Paphos.
The last day to register for the race, which was first held in 2013, is Sunday, April 27.
