The Electricity Authority of Cyprus announced the expansion of the mass installation of smart meters during the months of April and May, in areas of all provinces, in addition to those already announced by a relevant announcement on 31 March 2025.
Specifically, the works will continue in the following areas:
Nicosia:
- Engomi, in the area between the Mall of Engomi, Archangelos Michael Avenue, Morphou Avenue and the Makedonitissa area.
Limassol:
- Zakaki, in the area between Ilision Street, Paphos Avenue, Omonia Avenue and Sarantaporou Street.
Larnaca:
- Larnaca, in the area between Spyros Kyprianou Avenue, Antonis Papadopoulos Stadium and Papanikoli Avenue, as well as west of Lysos Santama Avenue to the Ethnarchis Makarios III Primary School.
Paralimni:
- Within the village, on both sides of Grigori Afxentiou Street and Giorki Papadopoulou Street to Kappari.
- Between Protaras Avenue and Agios Panteleimon Street.
- On both sides of Protaras Avenue – Cape Greco at the height of the Pernera area.
Paphos:
- In the area of Olympic Lagoon Resorts, between Spyros Kyprianou Avenue and Poseidonos Avenue.
EAC reminds that for the safe replacement of the meters, there will be a power outage, which is not expected to exceed 20 minutes. The public's understanding of the possible inconvenience is requested.
