Gallery 45 hosts a spring exhibition this April featuring the work of the talented Cyprus-based Lebanese contemporary painter Nadine Chabarekh. The solo show, titled Transcendent Rhapsody, will be unveiled on April 3.

From an early age, Chabarekh has been deeply passionate about drawing and painting, and this enthusiasm has evolved into a profound dedication to the craft of abstract art. Known for her perfectionist approach to life, Chabarekh uses her art as a way to release control, embracing spontaneity and living fully in the moment.

Her inspiration is drawn from the awe-inspiring beauty of nature, particularly the calm, expansive sea that surrounds her in her hometown of Larnaca. Through her work she conveys not only the physical world but also deep emotions, memories and poetic sentiments.

Transcendent Rhapsody invites viewers to experience an intimate dialogue between colour, form and feeling. Chabarekh’s work transcends the boundaries of abstract expressionism, creating an immersive environment where emotions resonate more powerfully than words, and where the viewer is invited to pause, reflect and connect with their own inner landscapes.

The artist’s practice is informed by her background in Biology as she blends scientific precision with artistic intuition. This combination results in work that is as intellectually stimulating as it is emotionally compelling.

“Join us at Gallery 45 for a transformative experience,” say organisers, “as Nadine Chabarekh takes you on a journey of profound expression and introspection. Her solo exhibition promises to be an unmissable event for art enthusiasts, collectors and those looking to explore the beauty of the abstract and the unknown.”

“My art is a dialogue between emotion and form, inspired by the serenity of nature and the fluidity of the sea,” the artist says. “Through abstraction, I invite viewers to pause, reflect and connect with their own inner landscapes. Each piece is a sanctuary, an expression of depth, harmony and poetic movement.”
