The repair of the damage to the Mavrokolymbos dam has not yet begun. The initial thought was that work would begin when the mud had dried.
However, there seems to be a general concern in the water development department as to whether it would be more appropriate for this small but important dam to be redesigned from scratch and to do more general work and not just to repair the ventilation pipe of the discharge pipe. There have even been suggestions for the creation of a new dam south of where it is today.
