During the meeting, he made a special reference to the need to expedite the Reorganization of the Organization, at an operational, organizational and administrative level, so that the Police can become a modern organization and be able to respond more effectively to the ever-increasing needs of society and the protection of citizens.
The changes planned, both at the organizational and operational levels, will respond to the increasing threats from serious and organized crime, as well as corruption, issues of sports violence, the increased expectations of citizens regarding their accessibility to the Organization itself, as well as the services offered by the Cyprus Police.
