It has already been confirmed in this first quarter of the year that Pafos has become the most popular tourist destination for Poles.
In anticipation of the return of Israelis after the war situation in the Middle East, this Central European country continues where it left off in 2024! According to official data, it is estimated that about 49% of Poles arriving in Cyprus reside in Paphos.
The air connection between Pafos and Poland is the best in the last 30 years and in 2025 there are up to 20 flights per week from six major Polish airports, with Ryanair having almost monopoly penetration in this market.
These important data are already being used by the institutions of Pafos in an effort to form the basis for the further development of tourism cooperation between the two countries. In this context, tourist agencies of the district, with the assistance of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, are taking steps to inform tour operators about the promotion of Pafos as a year-round tourist destination.
The Polish market has now become a top priority market and in recent years arrivals mainly due to Ryanair flights to Paphos have increased significantly.
