Particular attention is needed for drivers who move mainly in the mountains since many roads are slippery due to snowfall or frost.
According to police:
Due to snowfall and frost in the Troodos areas, the road network in the mountains is affected, with the Police recommending special attention to passing vehicle drivers. Open ONLY for vehicles with four-wheel drive or equipped with snow chains are the roads:
Limassol Area

- Papoutsas-Agrou
- Papoutsas-Agios Theodoros
- Kato Milos-Agros
- Zoopigi-Agios Theodoros
- Mandria-Platres
- Moniati-Platres
- Saitta-Pera Pedi-Mandria
- Saitta-Amiantou
Morphou Area
- Kalopanayiotis-Moutoulla
- Pedoulas-Prodromou
- Prodromou-Lemithou
- Kakopetria-Pinewood-Pedoula
- Kakopetria-Karvouna
- Kykkou-Pedoulas-Tsakkistras
Nicosia Area
- Palaichori-Agros
- Farmaka-Odos
- Aska-Fterikoudiou

Open but dangerously slippery due to snowfall and frost, are the roads:

- Palaichoriou-Farmaka
- Tsakkistras-Kampos
The rest of the road network in urban areas, as well as on motorways, does not present any particular problem, despite the winter conditions prevailing throughout Cyprus.
The Police recommends caution to those who will be moving on the road network, who are asked to observe the traffic code and traffic signals, to avoid road collisions.
