FORECAST UNTIL MONDAY - AND STATE OF THE ROADS DUE TO SNOW

Weak low pressure combined with a cold air mass and a strengthened northerly wind field affect the area. The height of snow in Troodos is 19 cm. See a detailed weather forecast through Monday, as well as the condition of the road network due to frost:

On Friday, the weather will be partly cloudy and at times mostly cloudy, while temporarily isolated light rain may occur and snow may fall in the mountains. The winds will blow mainly northwest to northeast, weak to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and on the coast to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea in the west and north will be turbulent, while in the south and east it will be a little turbulent to turbulent. The temperature will rise around 11 degrees in the interior, around 14 degrees on the coast and around zero degrees in the higher mountains. In the highlands, locally frost will prevail.

On Monday, the weather will initially be partly cloudy and gradually mostly cloudy, with occasional isolated showers or even an isolated thunderstorm. Snowfall is expected in the higher mountains.

The temperature on Saturday will rise slightly and until Monday it is not expected to change significantly, to continue to fluctuate below the average climatic values of the season. The Police recommends caution to those who will be moving on the road network, who are asked to observe the traffic code and comply with traffic signals, to avoid road collisions.
