Cloudy and temporarily mostly cloudy, with localized showers and isolated thunderstorms, as well as snow in the mountains, the weather continues today. Meanwhile, open but slippery, roads in mountainous areas are open due to frost. How will the weather develop until Friday? See the forecast:
On Tuesday, the weather will be partly cloudy and temporarily mostly cloudy, with isolated showers and isolated thunderstorms initially, but gradually localized showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected. In the higher mountains it will snow. The winds will blow mainly northwest to northeast, weak to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and transiently on the east and southeast coast to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be a little turbulent. The temperature will rise around 13 degrees in the interior, around 16 degrees on the coast and around 4 degrees in the higher mountains, where locally frost will be maintained.
Tonight the weather will remain partly cloudy, with rain gradually limited mainly to coastal areas, where an isolated thunderstorm may occur. The winds will blow mainly northwest to northeast, weak and transient locally to moderate 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be a little turbulent. The temperature will drop to around 5 degrees in the interior, around 7 degrees on the coast and around minus 2 degrees in the higher mountains. In the highlands and locally in the semi-mountainous, frost is expected to form.
On Wednesday the weather will be partly cloudy and temporarily mostly cloudy and gradually localized showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected, as well as snowfall in the higher mountains.
On Thursday, initially the weather will be locally partly cloudy with the possibility of isolated showers, but by midday it will become mostly clear.
On Friday the weather will be mostly clear, although locally increased clouds will be observed in the afternoon.
The temperature until Thursday is not expected to change significantly, remaining below the average climatic values, while on Friday it will rise, to fluctuate close to normal values for the season.
The height of snow, at the time of issue of the bulletin, was 13 cm in Troodos Square and 10 cm in Chionistra.
