Weak high pressure affects the area, resulting in cloudy weather today, while from Friday rains return.

Today, the weather will be partly cloudy and at times mostly cloudy with low and high clouds. The winds will blow mainly northeast to southeast and in the west southwest to northwest, weak to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm until a little turbulent. The temperature will rise around 18 degrees in the interior, around 20 degrees on the coast and around 10 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, the weather will remain partly cloudy and at times mostly cloudy with low and high clouds. The winds will turn northwest to northeast and on the north coast southeast, weak, 3 Beaufort. The sea will be calm until a little turbulent. The temperature will drop to around 6 degrees in the interior, around 10 degrees on the coast and around 3 degrees in the higher mountains, where frost is expected to form locally.
On Thursday, the weather will be mostly clear, with increased high clouds at times.
On Friday, in most areas of the island the weather will be mostly clear with temporarily increased clouds, but in the mountains, during the midday hours and after, clouds that will thicken, it is not excluded that they will give isolated rain. During the evening hours, isolated rains are likely to occur on the coast.
On Saturday, isolated rains are expected, mainly in the mountains but also in areas south of Troodos, mainly during and after midday.
The temperature until Saturday is not expected to change significantly, to continue to fluctuate above the average climatic values of the season.
The height of snow on the highest peaks of Troodos, at the time of issue of the bulletin, was 18 cm.
