Towards the end of January, Romanian comedian Victor Patrascan will present a show he calls Stand Up Comedy in Broken English. Touring Paphos, Limassol and Nicosia, he will spread his jokes and questions on controversial topics across the three Cypriot towns. Welcoming locals, expats, migrants and beyond, this show he says invites everyone for a laugh – just not the easily offended.
First up, he will entertain Paphos audiences on January 23 at Attikon Pafos by K Cineplex, then Limassol crowds on the following evening with a show at Lanitio Theatre and finally in Nicosia on January 25 at Pantheon Theatre.
As the year continues, more comedians from abroad will host hilarious nights in Cyprus. On February 9, South African comedian Kevin Fraser will bring his Imagination 2025 tour to Larnaca for one night only performing at Savino Live.
In spring and as part of his Relax World Tour, Russell Peters will perform a stand-up show in Nicosia. On May 29 he will take the stage of the Eleftheria Sports Arena for a one-night-only comedy experience. In the summer, comedian Jeff Arcuri, known for his incisive humour, will perform at Nicosia Municipal Theatre on June 24. Until then, more comedy nights are expected to be announced, sharing laughter and good vibes all around Cyprus.
