The details of the wanted suspect, whose photographs were released by the Police on Sunday, January 19, 2025, in the context of the investigations being carried out to locate him, regarding the case of attempted murder and injury, which was committed in the Old Port area of Limassol, on Saturday, January 18, 2025.
This is Marie Kasoum, 16 years old, date of birth 01/04/2008, from Syria. An arrest warrant has been issued against him and he is wanted.
The Police are once again releasing two of his photographs, as well as his details, with the aim of collecting information that may help in his identification.
At the same time, the Police are releasing the photo of a second suspect, who is being sought in connection with the same case, with the aim of collecting information that may help in identifying him and locating him.

According to the information under investigation, while an 18-year-old, a 19-year-old and two 16-year-olds were in the Old Port area of Limassol, at around 8.25 on the evening of Saturday, January 18, they were attacked by three individuals with a knife. The 18-year-old, 19-year-old, and 16-year-old were injured in the attack, with the 18-year-old hospitalized in critical condition with a chest wound.
