Το εργαστήρι “Frozen Musical Theatre workshop” εστιάζει στην διδασκαλία και την παρουσίαση τραγουδιών από το διάσημο μιούζικαλ της Ντίσνευ, “Frozen”.
Τι είναι το Μιούζικαλ; Κάποιοι το περιγράφουν ως ένα ξεχωριστό συνδυασμό τραγουδιού,
χορού και θεάτρου.
Χρησιμοποιώντας τα παιχνίδια ως μέσο διδασκαλίας, τα παιδιά θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να αφεθούν, και να αναπτύξουν την φαντασία τους και τις σκηνικές τους ικανότητες μέσω της κίνησης και του ήχου.

Βιογραφικό:Η Σοφία αποφοίτησε από το Μουσικό Λύκειο Πάφου με διπλή κατεύθυνση στην φωνή και το πιάνο. Σπούδασε Μουσικό θέατρο στο πανεπιστήμιο UCLAN(BA, 2019) και απέκτησε μεταπτυχιακό στο Musical Theatre Performance από την δραματική σχολή Mountview(2020). Αποτέλεσε μέλος της Musical Theatre ομάδας του πανεπιστημίου UClan, και είχε το ρόλο του βοηθού σκηνοθέτη και της μουσικής επιμέλειας για πολλές από τις παραγωγές τις ομάδας όπως πχ. το μιούζικαλ Grease και Addams Family. Κατά την διάρκεια των σπουδών, συνεργάστηκε με σκηνοθέτες και χορογράφους του West End και έλαβε μέρος σε Μιούζικαλς και Θεατρικά όπως τα Legally Blonde, Into the Woods, Twelfth Night και Clickbait. Στην επαγγελματική της πορεία έλαβε μέρος στο one woman musical Girl in a Crisis, στα πλαίσια του Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Λευκωσίας 2021. Έπαιξε στην παράγωγη του ΘΟΚ, Λυσσασμένη Γάτα, σε σκηνοθεσία Πάρι Ερωτοκρίτου(2023). Δούλεψε επίσης ως βοηθός σκηνοθέτη στην παραγωγή του ΘΟΚ, Βεγγέρα, το 2024, στην οποία έλαβε μέρος και ως ηθοποιός. Από το 2022, διδάσκει στο Εργαστήρι 25, σχολή μουσικής και θεάτρου, σε παιδιά από την ηλικία των 3 μέχρι εφήβους και ενήλικες. Για την σχολή επιμελήθηκε τις χορογραφίες και τη διδασκαλία για τα μιούζικαλ Encanto και Addams Family(2023, 2024, Δημοτικό θέατρο Λευκωσίας).

What is Musical Theatre? People describe it as unique blend of singing, dancing and acting.
Don’t miss this workshop by Sofia Ioannou that will be focused on learning and performing songs from the famous Disney musical “Frozen”.
Who doesn’t love a bit of Do you wanna build a snowman? A bit of Let it go?
Using learning through playing, the kids will have a chance to “Let it go” and to develop their imagination and performance skills through movement and sound.

A few words about Sofia:
Sofia graduated from Paphos Music school specialising in piano and singing. She then studied Music Theatre at UCLAN (BA, 2019) and also has an MA in Musical Theatre performance from Mountview Academy of Dramatic Arts(2020). She was a member of UCLan’s Musical Theatre society and took the role of Musical Director and Assistant Director for several projects such as Grease and Addams family. During her studies, she collaborated with directors and choreographers from the West End and took part in several musicals and plays such as: Legally Blonde, Into the Woods, Twelfth Night and Clickbait. As a professional actor she took part in the one woman musical Girl in a Crisis, at the Nicosia International Festival 2021. She was part of THOC’s production ‘Cat on a hot tin roof’, directed by Paris Erotokritou(2023). She has also worked as assistant director at THOC’s production ‘Veggera’ in 2024, in which she has also participated as an actor. Since 2022, she teaches Musical Theatre at Ergasitiri 25, School of Music and Theatre, to children from the ages of 3, up to teenagers and adults. For the school, she has also choreographed and taught for the
