FORECAST UNTIL EPIPHANY

High pressure is affecting the area, while weak low pressure is expected gradually from tomorrow. See the height of snow in Troodos and the detailed weather forecast up to Epiphany:

On Friday, the weather will be mostly clear, but after noon locally increased clouds will develop. The winds will blow mainly variable, weak, 3 Beaufort and the sea will be calm to a little turbulent. The temperature will rise around 18 degrees in the interior, around 19 degrees on the coast and around 8 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tonight the weather will initially be mostly clear with locally increased clouds, but later it will become mostly cloudy with medium and high clouds. The winds will blow downhill, weak, 3 Beaufort and the sea will be calm until a little turbulent. The temperature will drop to around 6 degrees in the interior, around 10 degrees on the west and north coasts, around 9 degrees on the rest of the coasts and around 2 degrees in the higher mountains, where frost is expected to form locally.

Over the weekend the weather will be cloudy at times, mainly with medium and high clouds, which are likely to give isolated light rain, especially in the mountains.

On Monday the weather will be mostly clear, although locally there will be increased clouds. During the three days, thin dust may be suspended in the atmosphere.

The temperature on Saturday will not change significantly, to remain close to or slightly above the average climatic values. On Sunday, however, it is expected to rise slightly, mainly on the coast and in the mountains, remaining at about the same level on Monday.

The height of snow, at the time of issue of the bulletin, was 3 cm in Troodos Square and 23 cm on the highest peaks of Troodos.
