A yellow thunderstorm warning is in effect from 06:00 in the morning until 18:00 as the barometric low "BORA", centred in the Carpathian Sea, moves east and affects the area.
According to the warning from the Department of Meteorology, isolated strong storms are expected to affect the area.
The intensity of rain will range between 35 and 55 millimeters per hour, while hail and strong gusts of wind may blow in a thunderstorm.
The temperature will rise around 17 degrees in the interior and coasts and around 8 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight the phenomena of local rain and thunderstorms will continue to affect the island at times.
The temperature will drop to around 11 degrees in the interior, around 13 degrees on the coast and around 5 degrees in the higher mountains.
