The construction of the shelter of the shops of the public market has already begun, which will definitively solve the problem with the weather conditions.
Shopkeepers cannot work under the hot sun and visitors cannot move around with the temperatures of the extreme, in recent years, summer. The same in winter. The municipality of Pafos, after the renovation of the facades of the shops and the upgrading works of the wider area, proceeded to the preparation of a plan that will provide a solution to the extreme weather conditions. The contractor is working with the aim of having the new shelter ready before the new summer tourist season.
