In a special way and for a very special reason, Larnaka Municipality will welcome this new year, announcing that silent fireworks will be used for the first time.
According to the announcement of the Municipality, "following requests from several of our fellow citizens, the fireworks that will be used to welcome the New Year 2025, will be silent in order to protect the animals of the city from deafening noises".
The cultural department of Larnaka Municipality organized a musical evening at Europe Square to welcome the New Year. A platform has already been set up near the big Christmas tree in order for the citizens who wish to attend the event.
