The online application period for the Housing Sponsorship Scheme for young couples and/or young people up to 41 years old, which provides for the granting of financial assistance to 400 beneficiaries, with a total budget of €15 million, ends on December 31, 2024.
So far, 163 valid applications have been submitted for evaluation, while citizens' interest in continuing the Plan remains high.
Therefore, following instructions from the Minister of Interior, the Plan will be re-announced revised within January 2025 and amendments will be adopted to its criteria, which are based on the feedback received from citizens and/or other organized groups/bodies.
With the re-announcement of the Scheme, the electronic platform www.housing.moi.gov.cy, through which applications are submitted, will remain operational until the total number of beneficiaries is reached.
