The late Archbishop Chrysostomos II loved the birthplace of Tala and offered a lot to Tala and its inhabitants both as Metropolitan of Pafos and as Primate of the Church of Cyprus.
Two years after his death, the community in cooperation with the ecclesiastical committee is preparing to honor his memory with the erection of a statue.
The small statue will be placed in the courtyard of the new Church of Tala, which was erected and operated during the days of Archbishop Chrysostomos.
