PAPHOS - CONTRACT SIGNED FOR NEW TOILETS

The signing of the contract between the Municipality of Pafos and the general partnership OCD+A Studio took place today, with the object of preparing the designs, preparing Tender Documents, as well as supervising the execution of various works for the public transport and public hygiene infrastructure network in the city of Pafos.

According to a relevant announcement, the works concern the Public Health Network in the Municipality of Pafos which includes the construction/installation of sanitary facilities at 15 points within the Municipality of Pafos, the complete renovation of existing sanitary facilities in the park on Ayia Napa Street in Kato Paphos, and the maintenance of the three existing stations (Karavella station, the Main Bus Infrastructure of the Tombs of the Kings and the Main Bus Infrastructure at Kato Paphos Harbour).

The contract also concerns the completion of the remaining works and/or correction of works of the Project "Creation of a Network of Public Transport and Public Health Infrastructure in Paphos and Geroskipou using the Design, Construction, Maintenance method" and specifically at Karavella station, the Main Bus Infrastructure of the Tombs of the Kings and the Main Bus Infrastructure at Kato Paphos Harbour. It is noted that the supply and installation of modern bus stop shelters for Paphos and Geroskipou will be done through a public contract concluded by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works.

On behalf of the contracting parties, the contract was signed by the Mayor of Pafos, Mr. Phedon Phedonos, and the coordinator of the study group, Mr. Nearchos Theodoulou.

The contract value amounts to a total amount of €73,780 including VAT and the duration of the project is set at 30.5 months from the date of signing the contract, excluding the part of the contract that concerns the maintenance of the three existing stations, which will be completed in August 2028.
