The company that operates the routes from the new GSP stadium to Nicosia under the "Pame Express" program, extends the bus traffic hours in order to cover store employees whose shifts end at 7pm and 8pm.
The new routes come into effect next Monday 11 November and the company expects to help those employees who had no choice but to use their private vehicle, given that so far the last bus from Nicosia to GSP departs at 6pm.
As reported to Filenews, on behalf of the company, Mr. Alexandros Kamberos, the specific gap in the return of store employees or other employees had been identified, and so the addition of two more routes was chosen, in order to serve this category of citizens.
Asked about this, Kamberos said that the new routes are not on a trial basis but are established as regular routes, so employees who wish to use them will know that they are constantly at their disposal.
The company estimates that the number of people who now have the option of the bus for their return is enough, which will also lead to the discharge of the road network, provided that it will attract a sufficient number of employees.
Currently, the "Let's go express" serves 290-300 people, i.e. about 600 routes.
