CHILDREN'S DAY

The purpose of the "CHILDREN'S DAY" is to inform and raise awareness about the issue of bullying. A topic that has now taken on enormous dimensions, both at the domestic and global level.

The event is organized by the American University of Beirut - Mediterraneo, the education center Digipro Education Limited, the FUNecole education program, the Lingua Franca English Private Institute, the Aiantas Paphos Academy private sports academy and the Youth Board of Cyprus

The event will take place at the facilities of the AMERICAN UNIVERSITY OF BEIRUT, on 24/11/2019, from 11:00 until 13:00

Admission is open to the public free of charge. On the site, there will be various activities curated by the organizers, whose main goal is to promote empathy, but also a deeper understanding of the phenomenon of bullying in children and adults.

The main speaker of the event is Dr. Foteini Panagiotou, PhD in the Department of Psychology of the ABB. The speech will take place in both Greek and English, so that the multicultural audience of our city is fully informed.

During the event, contributions will be given to the Committee for Protection and Welfare of Paphos Child - Paphos Paphos and to the COMMUNITY KINDERGARTEN TO MEDESOGI. Two frontline organizations, where we expect the support of the public so that they can continue their work seamlessly.

We are waiting for all of you, young and old, to say "NO" to bullying.
